Alarm goes off around 7 am and down to breakfast in the hotel around 8 am. We start off on foot for a tour of the city. It is partly sunny and temperature of around 60F. Metz is an historic city that traces back 3,000 years of history. We visited the shopping district and Saint Etienne Cathedral which as one of most important stain glass collections in the world.
After lunch our bicycles were deliveried to the hotel and we spent the rest of the afternoon exploring another historical district of the city. Dinner was at a sidewalk cafe.
